Lucky the yellow Lab had grown a lot in his first year of life.
He was no longer the active puppy who did puppy “things” in the house. Lucky was now an active young dog, who did “doggie” things everywhere!
His first encounter with the goats did not go well. They got the better of him and after some stitches and meds, he was back to his frolicking self.
He kept his distance from Henry the bull who almost got him with one of those sharp horns. But Bessie and Bossie “adopted” him and he spent hours laying alongside the meadow where they grazed or in the barn between their pens.
But Lucky was mot love for was the warm feeling his humans got when the wet muzzle he gave was either the last thing they felt at night or the first thing they felt in the morning!Embed from Getty Images
