A thought provoking suggestion for today’s The Daily Post has us considering our self as verb.
To be, to have, to think, to move — which of these verbs is the one you feel most connected to? Or is there another verb that characterizes you better?
Well I have always been a thinker. I have often hesitated to act out of fear of failure.
But, as I have grown older the willingness to act has grown and I take risks more often that I use to.
Having? I still like to have things but the list is growing shorter and shorter and I am becoming more content with a few things and not so obsessed with having as I once was.
Being? Very important in this season of life. In fact, I have spent a great deal of time focus on my character in the past couple of years.
