RE: Expectations for 2014

As we are nearing the end of the fifth month of 2014, it is time for a brief review of our expectations for this year.

We don’t have any.

We did decide to do the My One Word opportunity  again this year in place of a New Year’s Resolution(s). We chose “listen” as our One Word and we have done a fairly good job of listening to our God, to others, and to ourselves. Lots of self discovery that has been helpful, hard, and essential has occurred and that has been helpful.

So perhaps we we are doing better than expected.

But the value of listening is never ending.

Carry on.

  1. Jim, thanks for linking up with the monthly Oneword365 gang. I like seeing how “listen” is working is growing and coming to life — until next month! Amy
