Be our shepherd and our protector this day Father God

Shield us from Evil

Protect us from those who would do us harm – physical, mental, emotional, financial, and otherwise

Help us to stop and rest

and listen and wait and understand what Your purposes our for us this day and this week

Walk with us through the death of what needs to die in us so that You might live in us.

Give us the strength and the desire to gain the right kind of sustinence in the midst of conflict and difficulty – the kind that helps us thrive and love and honor You.

Thank You for Your gracious goodness, love, and mercy this day for it is truly food for our souls.

And for the promise of dwelling with You, we give thanks as we are reminded that what we deal with now, will one day be made right.
