My Earliest Memory

The Old Fire Station, Church Lane, Lincoln

My earliest memory is that of a trip to the local fire station about three blocks from where my parents and I were living on the east side of Dayton, Ohio. It was a cold day and I remember being dressed warmly by my parents for the trek.

For some reason, I was bound and determined I was going to drive one of the vehicles. I was about 2 and when we got there it was great. I remember the white ambulance most of all.

But that is about all that I remember of the trip.
