The Movie That Moved Me

'When I run, I feel His pleasure…"

Thought it has been nearly 30 years since the movie Chariots of Fire came out, the contrasting story of Eric Lidell and Harold Abrams, is one that moved me in several ways. The first was Lidell's simple Christian faith that touched his life in profound ways. The second was the contrasting angry sadness of Abrams whose focus on winning as the only thing, was hallow in comparison. A very inspirational film that reminds us that life is more than just winning and competing.
